Bioanalytic GmbH is a family-run company located in Umkirch close to Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Since 1978 we produce in vitro diagnostics (IVD), calibration standards, buffer and electrolyte solutions and complete test kits. Our portfolio includes special device-specific OEM reagents and cleaning products for the medical, chemical and analytical-technical laboratory area as well as reagents for the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industry.
Our long-standing customers include many leading diagnostic and reagent manufacturers, global operating manufacturers of analyzers and measurement technology. For these clients, Bioanalytic GmbH primarily does OEM manufacturing. Furthermore, pharmaceutical and biotechnological large enterprises, equipment importers, wholesale dealers, dealers for laboratory equipment as well as government institutes are clients of Bioanalytic GmbH. Our products are distributed worldwide, also as OEM ready for sale products under many product designations and brand names of our customers.
Bioanalytic GmbH has state of the art facilities for the production and quality control of high-quality reagents. Our scientific experience, our advice and strict quality standards have made us known as a reliable and competent business partner, especially to our clients of instrument manufacturing. Bioanalytic GmbH has the know-how to implement legal requirements and directives (e.g. REACH, CLP, MPG, AMG, IVD, CE, QM) and is registered with the FDA.
We offer our customers individual OEM solutions in special or series production. Our continuous growing range of manufacturing capabilities allow great flexibility in terms of formulation, bottling and batch size. From manufacturing to ready to sale packaging including OEM/PLM labeling and safety data sheets, Bioanalytic GmbH offers an one-stop solution.

Environment and Energy
Environmental Protection
Environmental protection is a special concern of ours. We act and decide in the awareness of our responsibility for our environment and operate an environmental management system based on DIN EN ISO 14001.
Water
We use water resources carefully and avoid unnecessary water consumption.
Without Animal Testing
Our products are developed, made and tested without any animal experiments.
Energy
We use 100 % of electricity from renewable energy sources (such as hydroelectric, wind and/or solar energy) in all departments: administration, production, warehouse. etc. We avoid unnecessary energy consumption as far as possible through appropriate technologies.
Since 2020, a company-owned photovoltaic system has been covering almost our entire energy needs.
Forest Protection
To conserve our natural resources we keep our paper emissions as low as possible. Therefore, our products contain no information in a variety of languages, but they are available on our website for free download.
Company Ecology
In addition to recycling and waste minimization, we attach great importance to the ecological care of our company areal. Appropriate planting and a forest and pond area provides habitat for many animals, especially lizards, snakes, amphibians (frogs and salamanders), fish, birds and small mammals (e.g. hedgehogs and dormice).
Safety
Occupational safety and health of our employees, business partners and product users are a crucial task and an integral part of our corporate policy.

In-house Safety
Compliance and possible improvement of the in-house safety is the responsibility of all employees. The managers encourage this as a role model and provide the necessary resources.
Product Safety
We provide our customers and product users reliable products with the appropriate documents. Especially our product information and operating instructions refer to any known hazards. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are kept up to date and are published on the Internet portal www.sds-id.com by a product lifetime valid identification number (sds-id). Access is via the Internet by using the product label and/or the product information.
Continuous Improvement
Where possible, we improve the safety in all processes by continuous adaptation and updates.
